Shrinking The Distance Between Idea And Execution

On May 25, 1961, President John F. Kennedy boldly declared,”I believe that this nation should commit itself… to landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth.”

Of course, you don’t just start with a mission to the Moon on live television.

To get there took eight years of other tests and missions, some successes and some failures, and learning an awful lot in private.

Thankfully, launching a new product or business today is a lot easier in comparison, but the lesson still holds.

Shrinking the distance between idea and execution is about testing often and learning sooner. And ideally, never waiting until a big launch to learn.
