Empathy First

Empathy—the ability to reach outside ourselves and connect with others. Empathy is a crucial element in the invention, design, development and launch of successful digital products.

When you begin to see the world through the eyes of your users, your customers—when you CARE about their needs, only then are you able to use fresh thinking to create new value. Focus on creating new value for end users and customers FIRST and your own business growth will follow.

Practice empathy with your coworkers, your friends and your family—begin putting their needs first and see what happens. Suddenly they want to help you. The same goes with your customers, when you give to them and improve their lives in some way, they will want to help you be a better, stronger company.
